Occupy Atopos launched with the participation of Greek-Ukrainian artist David Marinos.

David Marinos was born in 1998 and discovered his passion for visual arts, collage and photography at an early age. Key elements of his work are his interest in colour, form, classicism and the human body through a process of personalisation, always resulting in the same unique, fresh and dynamic outcome. Marinos might only be sixteen years old, but his continuously evolving work, his digital presence and his activity in various fields are impressive: he has been the founder of Lucent Kids, a collective of young artists, and he has launched his own line of clothing titled Icey.

David Marinos was the first resident of the Atopos Open Studio. The teen artist lived and worked in the headquarters of Atopos in downtown Athens for a week in an attempt to explore and unfold all aspects of his cutting-edge digital vision. During his residency Marinos produced original artworks that formed part of the Unlocked project. The creative outcome of his occupation had been exhibited and been open to the public exclusively on Wednesdays till November 19th.
