ATOPOS cvc celebrates the completion of the project #TextMe_FluffyLibrary with a closing event devoted to the one year Fluffy has been living and flourishing in our premises.

In the context of UNESCO’s ‘Athens 2019, World Book Capital’, the hybrid creature Fluffy, that has occupied the entire first floor of our premises and especially our library, is now preparing to travel to new libraries for new adventures!

On Saturday the 20th April, Fluffy has invited bitchy 101, millennials’ most popular pop-punk band (that is also a ghost band with no music online), for a closing event, an ode to all the friendships that were built up throughout the year. So, Bitchy 101 and Antigoni Tsagkaropoulou, the pink pony, Hair and KLara are inviting you to an introspective ‘performative’ concert that will blow a quiver of sensitivity to the dry desserts of compulsive nihilism in our hearts. You should all come to give Fluffy a last hug and say goodbye. ♡

INGREDIENTS: catchy grooves, inevitable irony, too many confusing feelings, frustration, funny jokes but also tears, but most importantly, the realization that failing in capitalism is a quite legitimate revolutionary act*.
BONUS TRACK: sentimental approaches on post-internet linguistics, narratives and rhetorical tricks.
EASTER EGG: somewhere around all that melodrama, most probably there will be planted a philosophical suggestion for what is to come next.

*Paraphrasing the original quote of the high priestess of the Moon (which is also their primary), Louisa Doloksa.

Bitchy 101 is the favourite pop punk ghost-band of the queer millennials, singing songs about angst, sexual frustration, undelivered expectations, psychosomatics and about poor data proletarians in our confusing days. For Fluffy’s closing event they have a few of surprise guest to tag along in their utopian fantasy of the future queerness.

#TextMe_FluffyLibrary had been an unusual library-participatory installation by the artist Antigoni Tsagkaropoulou, curated by Vassilis Zidianakis, in the context of UNESCO’s ‘Athens 2018, World Book Capital’. Fluffy Library was a meeting point of alternative narratives and actions around identity, gender and co-existence upon a huge hybridic, creature; Fluffy.

All the events, that had happened inside Fluffy were co-curated and organized by Antigoni Tsagkaropoulou in collaboration with other individuals, artists, educators, friends etc.
