Virtual conference of the Hellenic Costume Society on Zoom / Saturday 28th May, 10am (EET)

ATOPOS cvc is participating in the virtual conference of the Hellenic Costume Society in the frame of the celebration of International Museum Day 2022. In the conference, Vasilis Zidianakis artistic director of ATOPOS cvc and Stamatina Dimopoulou professor of American literature and culture will present the Tyvek windbreaker from the RRRIPP!! Collection of ATOPOS in conjunction with the ‘Self-Portrait in Tyvek Windbreaker’ a poem of american poet James Merrill.

Stamatina Dimakopoulou (MA, PhDLon) is Assistant Professor in American literature and culture at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. She has been Fulbright Visiting Scholar at New York University in spring 2016. Publications include articles on Surrealism, modernist magazines, U.S. poetry and art. She is co-editor of the volume The Letter of the Law: Literature, Justice and the Other (Peter Lang, 2013), and has recently co-edited a volume entitled Ruins in the Literary and Cultural Imagination (Palgrave-Macmillan, 2019), and a special issue on Records of Contingency: Forms and Media. She is a founding member and co-editor of the peer-reviewed e-journal, SynthesisCurrently working on a monograph tentatively entitled, Singularity, Vulnerability and the Texture of Experience.
