The three Greek artists, Dionisis Kavalieratos (b. 1979), Sifis Likakis (b. 1979) and Nikitas Broukakis collaborated with the Greek choreographer Marianna Kavalieratou in order to create a short video installation inspired by specific dresses from the collection. They were especially intrigued by the paper dresses’ behaviour towards water, air and fire. The video they created and named “Video 4” depicts the artists wearing duplicates of the 1960s paper dresses and the ‘Poster Dresses’ by Sarah Caplan while exploring everyday life in Athens and addressing issues of domesticity, identity and gender.
