The Greek fashion design duo was interested in creating ‘something wearable and not ‘a theatrical costume’. They were given a distinctive paper dress bearing an Aztec-art inspired print. They created a mini strapless dress with horizontal stripes from the ATOPOS paper dress. Their creation conveys a very feminine essence and captures the spirit of youth of the paper fashion fad of the 1960s.

Excerpt from a written interview to M. Pichou on the occasion of the article “The ATOPOS RIPPING Project: a “new” life for dress objects ?” (COSTUME, volume 54, issue 2, 2020)
