Atopos BlahBlahBlah, a program of events, performances, workshops and discussions launched in 2015 as part of the research for the UNLOCKED book and exhibition, continues with Bruno Ceschel and Self Publish Be Happy. On April 8th the founder of SPBH presented a SPBH TV exhibition with video installations and projections along with the launch of his book Self Publish, Be Happy: A DIY Photobook Manifesto and Manual (Aperture Foundation) in Athens whereas on April 9th and 10th a two-day intensive SPBH workshop took place at ATOPOS cvc. The workshop was conceived for people interested in publishing their own photography book and all the participants had been given the necessary tools and insight to become publisher of their own publication. The class had covered the varied contemporary publishing ‘models,’ from the zine to the traditional perfect-bound photography book. The workshop ended with the presentation of the newly designed photography books.
