Commissioned by La Gaîté lyrique and ATOPOS cvc, Andrea Crews created a colourful monster that welcomed the visitors of ARRRGH! at the entrance of the exhibition. A self-portrait of the Paris-based designer, this rainbow monster was made entirely with clothes found in charity shops. Its face covered with a handbag and bearing a chainsaw, Autoportrait à la Tronçonneuse broke the walls of la Gaîté and led the way of the Monsters’ escape.
