From February 13th until April 7th, Atopos cvc presented its ARRRGH! Monsters in Fashion exhibition at La Gaîté lyrique. The craziest, sexiest and most radical monstrous creatures are invading Paris!
ARRRGH! Monsters in Fashion has been the first international exhibition on character design in fashion and art. Characters are abstract, reduced figures with a strong anthropomorphic appeal and bold graphical silhouette. Participating designers and artists reshaped the human body and revealed a new universe full of dreams, nightmares and hybrid creatures.
The outcome of extensive research that became Atopos’ unique publication Not a Toy and following the success of its first presentation at the Benaki Museum in Athens, ARRRGH!
