As part of Milan Arch Week, promoted by Triennale Milano, Politecnico di Milano, and the Municipality of Milan, the talk “Wet Commons: Art, Design, and Research in Conversation with the Sea” brings together artists, designers, and researchers to reflect on the relationship between water and our shared environments.

Across the Mediterranean and the North Sea, the discussion takes as its starting point three publications — Landscape of the Clusters, Office of the Hydrocommons, and North Sea Rising — to explore how water shapes and unsettles our territories. The event will offer a multidisciplinary exchange on adaptation, fragility, and cooperation.

The talk is led by Francesca Vanelli, Marie Curie Dual PhD Candidate at the Department of Architecture, Built Environment and Construction Engineering of Politecnico di Milano and RMIT University, under the REDI Program.
