A series of five Poster dresses by Sarah Caplan (MPH Design) made of Tyvek, a paper-like material. (ATOPOS cvc 2005.02.001-004).
Sarah Caplan studied at Oberlin College and Parsons School of Design. She then lived in New York for 15 years, working for prominent artists, including Vogue photographer Arthur Elgort and musician David Byrne. She currently lives and works as a freelance artist and graphic designer in California. She developed her paper dress project in 1999 as a reinterpretation of the dresses from the 1960s, but now for the new millennium.
