The #RevoltingBodies first event is the workshop Inventing Revolution in collaboration with invited fartists, the 11th Studio and the students of the Athens School of Fine Arts. The workshop introduces participants to the concept of Invented Tradition, an idea originally developed in the collective volume ‘The Invention of Tradition’ published in 1983 and edited by Eric Hobsbawm and Terence Ranger. Participants invited to create original works which will initially be presented on revoltingbodies.gr, the ‘Virtual Revolutionary Headquarters of Language and Image’, after the completion of the workshop by the end of May.
