David Marinos has been the third Chou of Atopos’ Mon Petit Chou project. Vassilis Zidianakis first came across David’s work online, while working on the Unlocked research that focuses on the depiction of the naked human body through the various contemporary digital platforms. The 16-year-old at the time Greek-Ukranian artist became the first participant of the Occupy Atopos residency series. The teen artist was invited to live and work in the headquarters of Atopos in downtown Athens for a week in an attempt to explore and unfold all aspects of his cutting-edge digital vision. The creative outcome of his occupation was presented during the exhibition Atopos Unlocked #David Marinos, which opened in Atopos in October 2014.
