Atopos Contemporary Visual Culture has the pleasure to inform you about British designer Craig Green’s nomination in the Fashion category for the Designs of the Year awards by London’s Design Museum, thanks to his unique MA collection.

On loan from the ATOPOS cvc collection, two costumes of Craig’s MA Central Saint Martin’s collection will be displayed at the Design Museum’s exhibition from March 20th to July 07th 2013, representing his nomination to the Designs of the Year awards. Part of his MA collection is currently on display at the ‘ARRRGH! Monstres de Mode’ exhibition at La Gaîté lyrique, Paris.

ATOPOS cvc and Craig Green first collaborated in 2011 during the performance ‘Atopic Bodies [FOUR]: The Wicker Cult’. This collaboration continued with ‘ARRRGH! Monsters in Fashion’ exhibition, Benaki Museum, Athens, the publication ‘NOT A TOY. Fashioning Radical Characters’, with Craig amongst the participating artists, and by supporting his SS 13 collection. Most recently, ATOPOS cvc commissioned Craig to develop the visual identity for our exhibition ‘ARRRGH! Monstres de Mode’ on display at La Gaîté Lyrique, Paris (February 13th – April 07th 2013).
