Fluffy has invited its girlfriends from Genderhood, Nicky Panteliou and Sophia Konstantopoulou, to organise, in collaboration with Antigoni Tsagkaropoulou, the workshop “Fluffy with Ηρακλής Πουά-Ροζ” inside Fluffy Library.

We invite children between the ages of 4 and 8 to participate in a hyper-colourful and fluffy workshop, that aims to a playful investigation beyond the pink and the blue.

Children are about to have a taste of various toys of all colours and shapes and “identify” which are the ordinary toys for boys and which ones for girls.  Later, they’ll have the opportunity to design and create their own toys using mixed materials, that they can find inside Fluffy. And finally, they will uncover the lost secret that lies in the bowels of Fluffy.

Participation cost: 12 e (per child)

To save a seat contact with: info@genderhood.org or anti17tsagkaropoulou@gmail.com

(limited number of seats)

We recommend children to carry any spy object such us masks, hand lens, trench coats, hats, sunglasses, newspapers. So, together we will find out the secrets, that are hidden inside the hairy cavities of Fluffy.

The purpose of this workshop is for children to understand through artistic creation that there aren’t toys just for girls or just for boys. All toys are for all kids, according to the unique interests and bias of each one.

Ηρακλής Πουά-Ροζ is a workshop of experiential learning, about equality and human rights, by Genderhood . A journey around recognition, respect and inclusion, regardless of someone’s sex. During this journey and through visual arts children explore social roles and stereotypes related to the fact of their birth as boys or girls. They are searching of the place, that they want to have in society and how to create it. In this way, we watch children growing up without distinctions due to their sex and with freedom of expression, critical thinking and confidence.

The coordination of the workshop carries Nicky Panteliou and Sophia Konstantopoulou.

The workshop is been realised in collaboration with artist Antigoni Tsagkaropoulou and Fluffy Library.

#TextMe_FluffyLibrary is an unusual library-participatory installation by the artist Antigoni Tsagkaropoulou, curated by Vassilis Zidianakis. Fluffy Library is a meeting point of alternative narratives and actions around identity, gender and co-existence upon a huge hybridic, creature; Fluffy.

All the events, that are happening inside Fluffy are co-curated and organized by Antigoni Tsagkaropoulou in collaboration with other individuals, artists, educators, friends etc.
